It didn’t take long for republican Paul Chabot (R-Rancho Cucamonga) to step in it.

Chabot, who was a candidate in the 40th Assembly District, is now running to replace retiring Gary Miller (R-Rancho Cucamonga) in the 31st Congressional District.

A seat now sure to switch to blue, based on district registration.

The last forty-eight hours have been interesting for the anti-drug crusader. So far he’s pissed off several republican groups, who are backing other republicans, but not him.

Chabot has essentially went into a meltdown.

It’s a meltdown on Facebook to be more specific. Can there be anything worse?

He’s attacked the California Young Republican Federation, Riversided County Young Republicans, San Bernardino County Young Republicans, Inland Valley Young Republicans, Redlands Tea Party, California Republicans Assembly, Assemblyman Mike Morrell and Congressman Gary Miller.

Chabot says they’re all shills to the establishment.

Maybe Chabot should consider switching parties.
