Inland courts hope the next fiscal year will bring in enough money to prevent further staff reductions and service cuts.

Both Riverside and San Bernardino County superior courts have had millions sliced from the state portion of their budgets since fiscal 2008-09. Each faced deficits in 2013, which they overcame by emptying reserve funds and using their shares of a small increase from the state, the first upward bump from Sacramento in years.
