Two new polls show President Obama hitting a new low for his presidency.

A Quinnipiac University poll shows Obama’s approval rating dropping to an all-time low of 38 percent — down from 39 percent a month ago — and his disapproval rating rising to an all-time high of 57 percent — up from 54 percent last month.

A Marist College/McClatchy poll, meanwhile, shows a new high for the percentage of Americans disapproving of Obama’s job performance. The 53 percent who disapprove is higher than the 52 percent who disapproved in September 2011.
