The case against Former Upland City Manager Robb Quincey is snailing its way through the courts.

In October 2012, San Bernardino County District Attorney Michael Ramos charged Qunicey, with single counts of Perjury, Conflict of Interest and Embezzlement by a Public Officer, all felonies.

Quincey just appeared in San Bernardino County Superior Court on Thursday, only to have the case continued to January 29.

Court records indicate the case, whch is awaiting a preliminary hearing, hasn’t been short on drama.

In September, Deputy District Attorney Reza Sadeghi opposed a request to release Quincey on his own recognizance, and exonerate his bail bond.

Judge Cara Hutson granted Qunicey’s motion.

Then on October 21, 2013, Quincey requests to travel out-of-state to Minnesota. Once again the request was opposed by Sadeghi.

Ironically, the record indicates Quincey was in possession of his passport the whole time hes’ been charged, and never fled the country.

Once again, Hutson granted the request.
