The field for the 42nd Assembly District just got a little less crowded.

Chris Mann announced Thursday, Nov. 21 he was dropping out of the race for the district, which covers Hemet, San Jacinto, the Pass, Yucaipa and much of the Coachella Valley and Yucca Valley. The 42nd’s term-limited incumbent, Republican Brian Nestande of Palm Desert, is running for Congress against Democrat Raul Ruiz.
