COLTON >> Patrick Petre, a longtime top admininstrator of Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, has resigned, county officials said Monday.
The hospital’s director since 2007, Petre guided the facility through a period of extensive expansion, which included the addition of 83 medical/surgical beds to its sixth floor and the opening of a three-story, 68,000-square-foot medical office building.
Petre also helped guide the medical center’s journey to become the first San Bernardino County hospital designated as a stroke center, plus the institution of a palliative care program and an enhanced cancer care program.
He is the second leading ARMC executive to leave in about a year.

hey Patrick, take dr gnadev with you!
“In 2012, Dr. Dev GnanaDev, medical director since 2000, resigned to focus on his private sector surgery group.”
What a load of b.s. GnanaDev is fortunate that he was not taken away in handcuffs for his self-serving business practices.
Tired of Josie asking for freebies for her friends?
I suspect that Petrie has been unable to deal with the new medical director and has decided to leave. Its the usual way of doing business. If you cannot get along, bail before you make to many waves and cannot get a good reference.
