The action comes after LDF trustee’s allege the law firm, a former member of the trust’s defense panel, engaged in overbilling practices.

In a letter, dated October 9, 2013, written by Legal Defense Fund Chairman Fred Rowbotham, and forwarded to PORAC member Associations, Rowbothan says the trust has hired a civil law firm to engage in recovery of allegedly overbilled charges, filed a complaint with the State Bar of California, and filed a complaint with appropriate law enforcement officials.
