San Diego Mayor Bob Filner’s credit-card statements show several expenses at the Westgate Hotel, across from City Hall, where his bodyguards have told investigators that he took women.

The receipts were requested by U-T Watchdog and 10News under the California Public Records Act. They show eight charges totaling $511 at the Westgate from January through May, ranging from $29 to $111.

The Watchdog reported on Saturday that Filner’s security detail told investigators he took women to the Westgate. The mayor is being investigated by federal, state and city authorities in relation to sexual harassment allegations and inquiries into his dealings with developers.

The U-T requested the credit-card statements on June 14. In addition to the Westgate, they show $502 of meals from Indigo Cafe and Catering.
