The PE: POLITICAL EMPIRE: Stone kidded for white suit

No, that wasn’t Colonel Sanders at the June 25 Riverside County Board of Supervisors meeting.

Supervisor Jeff Stone, known for making bold comments, made a bolder fashion statement by wearing an all-white suit and light blue tie. According to Stone, it’s an annual tradition his staff expects him to honor.

Moreno Valley plans to cut the police department by 19 percent, reducing the force by 36 officers, according to a statement released by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Friday night.

ONTARIO — May passenger traffic at L.A./Ontario International Airport declined 9.3 percent from the same month last year, making it the largest drop in monthly passenger traffic since October 2011.
