The billboard “congratulating” Mayor Pat Morris and four members of the City Council for making San Bernardino the nation’s “worst-run city” has been moved to the corner of Highland Avenue and Medical Center Drive, but the police union responsible for putting it up say they’re standing by their message.
The sign was taken down by sign company CBS Outdoor Media, and the Police Officers Association is looking for a better location than the one it was moved to, said union president Steve Turner.

Yep, give us what we want or we will smear you. Isn’t that extortion?
Oh by the way, SCREW everyone else. WE Demand to be untouched by current economic hardships effecting everyone else!!!!
I personally think if they don’t like it, they should go somewhere else find another job, like everyone else is forced to do.
Where’s The billboard from the police and fire unions talking about how their unreasonable and outrageous salary and benefit demands and their obscene retirement has driven the city into bankruptcy?
Since San Bernardino spends 73% of it’s budget on public safety, isn’t the police union kind of biting the hand that feeds them?
Repairman:
With respect to your Comment # 1, I agree 100%.
This is the second time I have completely agreed with one of your comments in the past week or so!
Plus, you recently admitted that you are not a fan of Mike Ramos! The next step in the process is to admit that Mike Ramos is using taxpayer money to selectively prosecute his political adversaries.
Keep up the good work!
WERE THE BILLBOARDS REALLY NECESSARY?
If there is real concern and a sincere desire to see the city of San Bernardino rise like magic rocks, then the hard work must be done with the lid down. Otherwise, as I mentioned in the other case with Mr. Larson, the washer turns OFF if the LID is OPENED during the cycle!

“Larson said he isn’t sure if he’ll argue that the SEBA mailer and the extensive publicity surrounding the case warrants a change of venue.”
Ah! Change of venue?
And air San Bernardino County’s dirty laundry at a point when it’s in the process of a good cleaning- this is the pre-wash cycle…we all know it turns the washer OFF if the LID is OPENED during the cycle!
#5, can you tell us all how San Bernardino County is in the process of “good cleaning”? I am serious, I mean no disrespect by my question. You have said numerous times that there is some progress at work to rid the County of corruption, can you explain how this is at work? You seem to know something the rest of us don’t, and have for awhile now, so, is it working?? Because, it sure doesn’t seem like it.
“is it working?? Because, it sure doesn’t seem like it.” A very fair question anonymous, I will attempt to answer it.
Yes, it’s working!
And if it doesn’t seem like it, it’s because the most important work has BOTH taken and is STILL taking place quietly, silently, and with the lid down; n’est-ce pas?.
And just look at how long we have been cheering on and going THE DISTANCE with Mr. Larson- with unwavering faith and optimism- I hope you stick around for the end. In the mean time, life goes on for us all, and we too must quietly take care of our own business.

San Bernardino County needs a Good House Cleaning. It is at an all time low.
The county has never been as corrupt as it is now with ovitt,Rutherford ,devil redux, fat Ramos, etc. complete hacks.
I love the billboard and think it depicts, well, the failed legacy’s of the Morris’s. I wish it included the other “architects” of disaster – Jim Morris, Tim Prince, and Tobin Brinker! Why is it, the mousiest guys are always so angry?
It should’ve had Hoops and McMahons mud shots up there too. Make no mistake, the past sheriff’s in this county including Bozo McMahon are a big part of the problems faced in San Berdoooooo County. When political hacks appoint the sheriff, you know he must be tainted too…

Don’t forget the police and fire unions on that billboard.
Why is it the guys that always walk around with their chests puffed out, acting above it all, the most pampered, that cry, scream, and stomp their feet the loudest when they don’t get what they want?
