At this point not really. Even though the headline unemployment (U-3) number is at 7.8%.

The housing market has healed, and there’s no inventory for buyers, is the proclamation of the month.

UPLAND – The City Council has given staffers approval to withdraw the city from its risk-management pool to potentially save the general fund $150,000 annually.

The California Public Employees’ Retirement System has reported – with no small elation – that it has recouped virtually all of the $95 billion in investment losses it sustained during the global financial crisis.
