Hagman

Looks like a battle for leadership of the San Bernardino County Republican Central Committee is in the works for later this month.
Sources say Assemblyman Curt Hagman (R-Chino Hills) wants to replace Chairman Robert Rego.
One of the last elected official’s to hold the position of chair of the local party was former Assessor and County Supervisor Bill Postmus. The party ended up being ran into the ground financially.
Afterwards, the group, which still continues to struggle financially, veered towards having non-public officials control its leadership.
Now the assemblyman, for some unknown reason, reportedly wants the top spot.
There’s no disputing Hagman has been a good legislator, to the extent any republican can be in Sacramento. But he should have to first explain to committee members his past and ongoing ties to Postmus before getting any serious consideration.

Admin and Derry are jealous they have become so irrelevant while Postmus still has influence all over the state.
#1 speaking of “irrelevant” stay in your pig pen at iepolitic please!
It’s well known Bill Postmus is trying to make a come back. You can easily see this through the amount of Young people running for office in his old stomping grounds, while collecting large amounts of Votes. Each having well funded campaigns and advanced political knowledge that isn’t something you learn in a short period of time. Being from the area I am cautious of these rising star/young politico types after Bill Postmus.
