Sources say there’s some unhappy campers in the San Bernardino County Republican Central Committee these days.

The latest hubbub centers around the race between Congressman Gary Miller (R-Rancho Cucamonga) and State Senator Bob Dutton (R-Rancho Cucamonga).

Miller, who handily beat Dutton in their November 6 runoff, had the support of the state republican party.

However central committee Executive Director Brenda Chabot seems to have cared less.

Apparently some folks, within the party, aren’t too happy with Chabot shilling for State Senator Bob Dutton (R-Rancho Cucamonga) in the weeks leading up to the election.

Chabot made it clear Dutton was the man, even though her committee deferred endorsement to the state party, who endorsed Miller, a seven-term incumbent.

One can probably clock Chabot’s tenure with an egg timer at this point.
