Freedom Works has put together a list of companies that will be laying off employees as a result of President Barack Obama’s health care law:
Welch Allyn
Welch Allyn, a company that manufactures medical diagnostic equipment in central New York, announced in September that they would be laying off 275 employees, or roughly 10% of their workforce over the next three years. One of the major reasons discussed for the layoffs was a proactive response to the Medical Device Tax mandated by the new healthcare law.
Dana Holding Corp.
As recently as a week ago, a global auto parts manufacturing company in Ohio known as Dana Holding Corp., warned their employees of potential layoffs, citing “$24 million over the next six years in additional U.S. health care expenses”. After laying off several white collar staffers, company insiders have hinted at more to come. The company will have to cover the additional $24 million cost somehow, which will likely equate to numerous cuts in their current workforce of 25,500 worldwide.
Stryker
One of the biggest medical device manufacturers in the world, Stryker will close their facility in Orchard Park, New York, eliminating 96 jobs in December. Worse, they plan on countering the medical device tax in Obamacare by slashing 5% of their global workforce – an estimated 1,170 positions.

This is just the beginning.
Of course I have no idea what I’m talking about though!
The numbers will just keep growing.
the more people who get laid off, the more who will squeeze the taxpayers for more wealth re-distribution, the more slugs will surface, and hell we go
#1 And their downfall will eventually be having underestimated you.
Wow, those Obama Morons in the previous post are amazingly silent here. Guess the reading assignment was too difficult. This is one President who will do monstrously worse in his second term.
OH yeah. Ramos, 1090, put them together and what do you get?
“There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what
the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be
replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable.
There is another theory which states that this has already happened.”

People, Please stop being so lame. The article referenced above is not the scary thing, but rather, the fact that you all believe the garbage emanating from the same people that told you Romney was going to win in a landslide is horrifying. Heck, even the worst president of all time said “fool me once shame on me, fool me twice, -pause- well I can’t get fooled again” Yet, here you go again swallowing hook line and sinker and foul and smelly bait offered by this misnamed freedom works. They should be named misinformation works.
fool me once ….. go to hell

what on earth are YOU talking about
at least Red made a point, whether you agree or not.
Here’s one I was given.
On the wall of one of the restrooms at the Honold library someone wrote “Jesus Saves.”
Underneath it, someone else wrote, “Moses Invests.”
I almost have to agree with red, almost. The world is not coming to an end, it’s just changing. Businesses will adjust. I’m not sure how any business can make a three year negative projection, I certainly would hire a new CEO, with a more positive outlook!
