As expected High-Desert Businessman Robert Lovingood and Former San Manuel Band of Mission Indians Chairman James C. Ramos won their respective bids for seats on the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors. Lovingood defeated Sheriff’s Lieutenant and Apple Valley Town Councilman Rick Roelle to become the next First District Supervisor.
Ramos defeated incumbent Supervisor Neil Derry to take over reigns of the Third District.
Lovingood will replace Brad Mitzelfelt who made an unsuccessful bid for Congress,
Congratulations to both men.

Congratulations to James Ramos; the people have spoken, and I respect their opinion.
However, I continue to feel that the victory was due more to Mike Ramos prosecution of Neil Derry than to James Ramos qualifications. I hope to be proven wrong.
“Repairman,” Red Anonymous, and other James Ramos supporters: let’s get together for a report card after his first six months in office.
ramos can forget about his respect for Veterans (ie Neil Derry, USMC) on Veterans’ Day. ramos will simply suck in our HEROS into his addictive money-laundering casinos
Ramos=scum. Always was,always will be.
Anonymous #1 I would be glad to be part of discussing Ramos after six months. I am angry at those who controlled Derry’s Campaign. Derry was fantastic at the first debate in Redlands and when Derry’s wonderful wife wrote that letter defending her husband yet not her husband, but disclosing and being transparent that “Neil Derry” the 3rd District Supervisor was a real defender of the “people”. When all those flyers came out attacking Ramos Indian Heritage civil rights, Mexican Mafi etc.etc.and etc! And then falsifying a photo of Ramos supposedly tearing down Derry’s signs, I was screaming “what the hell are those campaign advisors doing Mud Slinging, Stop you Knuckle-Heads! All Derry needed to do is build off the debate and his wife’s letter which exposed how the Casino stalled Mrs. Derry even lying to her right in the SBCO Supervisors Area. Wow now that was a “Powerful Picture” Mrs. Derry painted to the people in the third district. I hope Mrs. Derry runs for a office in government she would be powerful. Anyway that is my take on it. I wish you Mr.& Mrs. Derry have a good Thanksgiving.
