Another desperate flurry of pie-in-the-sky polls heavily favoring President Barack Obama appeared this week.
One just has to love all the wishful thinking.
Republican intensity is at its highest in years.
Hurricane Sandy heavily affected the state’s of New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware and the eastern half of Pennsylvania.
All heavily Democrat-leaning areas.
Other state’s were affected to a significantly lesser extent.
The latest polling gimmick award goes to The National Journal and CBS/New York Times.
The Journal published a poll on Wednesday giving Obama a 5-point edge over Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney. A result no other poll has indicated of late.
When you delve into the poll demographics you have to just laugh out loud.
Once again another poll that skews the Democrat turnout weighting to an 8-point advantage over Republican.
The CBS/Times menagerie has Obama up 5-points.
Looking behind the numbers here we see the weighted sample of 898 respondents was 8.8 percent higher for Democrats.
The cherry-picked sample of 798-respondents, from the 898 above, is weighted 5 percent higher for Democrats.
More wishful thinking.
The funny thing is that both Christie and Bloomburg jumped the Robme ship. They don’t back losers.
On the issue of polls I have to agree that they are not very accurate, However Nate Silver has been the most accurate at pinning down and translating all the polling information combined. His conclusion along with the gambling establishments taking bets on this election is that Robme is doomed. Check for yourself and check the accuracy of his record.

Christie’s kind words-almost-endorsement, and Mayor “Elizabeth Warren is a socialist” Bloomberg of New York City’s recent endorsement, it should come as no surprise that Obama’s opponent, Gov. Romney, has now endorsed Barack Obama for the presidency in 2012 — “…another four for President Obama,” said Romney to a shocked crowd!
