Ramos
Friday, October 19, 2012 – 10:30 a.m.
San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors Candidate James Ramos is still ducking crowds these days.
The San Manuel Band of Mission Indians Tribal Member and lifelong Democrat is running against Republican Third District Supervisor Neil Derry.
As previously discussed on this blog, Ramos has been dodging several community forums, where he has to contract himself with Derry.
Something that Ramos has shy-ed away from ever since the debacle at the Highland Chamber of Commerce candidate forum in late September.
This time Ramos has given his Alma mater, California State University at San Bernardino, the I’m busy answer to a request to participate in a political forum with Derry.
The school was shocked at Ramos’ refusal to participate.
Now the forum has transformed into a get to know Derry event.
Apparently Ramos has no time to appear at forums, but has time to put up his campaign signs during the day and evening.

This is just as I predicted in a prior comment.
James Ramos will not make public appearances down the stretch, where he has much to lose, but will instead use his superior financial backing to inundate us with campaign signage.
“The school was shocked at Ramos’ refusal to participate.”
Shocked?
Why? Where have they been the past ten months since Ramos announced his candidacy? (with blindfolds)
Ramos has demonstrated a pattern of ARROGANT INDIFFERENCE to the Third District voters by flat out refusing to engage publicly with the man he is challenging, our current Third District Supervisor NEIL DERRY.
James Ramos’ unnatural and sudden interest in running for supervisor should have been a huge, and obvious RED FLAG!
The Devil: Does DA Mikey like it?
Minister of Evil Ovitt: He likes it, Mikey likes it… ( he actually loves it when the DA can pimp-out a candidate like San Manuel Chief James, in hopes of pulling-over all of the County’s 3rd District into the Ramos Bros. Mob.
#LSW good grief, you are no help, whose side are you on!
Too graphic?
Vote Derry to avoid the ugliness!
Ramos?…phony, fraud, vile!
Littlie Stevie Wonder:
No, your comments are not “too graphic.”
However, they continue to be based on goofy name calling and a phrase that references an archaic cereal commercial that I suspect not too many readers understand.
At least you make a good point (I think): James Ramos is Mike Ramos hand picked candidate to take out Neil Derry, and will do whatever he says if elected.
Is that what you were trying to say?
Vote Derry, avoid the ugliness!
Lsw- grow up already. Your juvenile name calling reinforces what everyone thinks of you
. LITTLE STEVIE STUPID. can’t wait til you get your ass handed to you in the election.
All those voters, at all those forums, are handed to Neil Derry on a silver platter. Neil must be overjoyed each time Mr. Ramos is a no-show.
