RANCHO CUCAMONGA–The federal court conviction of Aaron Sandusky for operating a large-scale marijuana grow operation is now a campaign talking point in the race for the 40th Assembly District,
Russ Warner, called on his opponent, Assemblyman Mike Morrell, R-Rancho Cucamonga to donate a campaign contribution from Sandusky, 41, of Rancho Cucamonga, to an Inland Empire charity that helps those fighting drug addiction.
“He should donate Sandusky’s tainted dollars at once,” Warner said in a statement. “On Monday, I plan on offering a similar donation from my personal resources. Drug and alcohol addiction has ravaged numerous families in San Bernardino County and throughout this country.

Warner needs a life, so he tries to take advantage of the collateral damage involving the fight over the implementation on Prop 218 and mmj aka the WAR ON DRUGS for a political contribution to Morrell in 2003!

Wow, politics at its best! Mike Morrell, you had no problem asking your so called acquaintance for donations several other times in the past but now you want to deny that he is a friend? Aaron considered you a friend and he had so much respect for you because you took him under your wing 22 yrs ago when he first got into real estate. You personally know his character to be a genuine, generous man with a good heart. He just requested yesterday that I reach out to you to ask if you would write a letter of character to the judge that will be sentencing him because he again considered you to be a long time friend. I’m glad I read this article before I actually made that request from you. I don’t have the heart to tell him about this article and your comments while he is sitting in prison. He was standing up for the constitutional rights of California citizens which as the current Assemblyman you should have been doing. This makes me sick. You are trying to gain votes to be re-elected in a position where you are supposed to represent the citizens of this community and when your opponent tries to pull a dirty act of politics in an attempt to make you look bad, instead of standing up and supporting your friend or “acquaintance” in the injustice that he is facing, you simply turn your back on him… WOW! As for Russ Warner… well sir I am equally disgusted with you too. Back in June I contacted you to ask your position on a few pressing matters that are of concern in this community. Medical marijuana was one of those issues. Your response then was that you did support it by not having a problem with it. You indicated that you were aware of the need for ill patients to have safe access. We had a lengthy conversation that day and I actually liked you and respected you. Now I understand that your comments were simply political ploys to gain my vote because you said what you figured I wanted to hear. Now you are using the misfortune of Aaron Sandusky to attack your opponent. These dirty political tactics are a depiction of your character sir. Neither one of you should be elected into this position. It should be filled by someone that actually cares about the citizens of this community.

I personally have seen your so called medical MJ users…..all in their early 20′s with long stringy dirty hair, no job and no prospects. In other words the same people that used marijuana before the so called medical marijuana scam.
So get off your self righteous high horse about how noble this sandusky guy is. He is just another low life drug dealer masqerading as a medical provider only interested in helping old people deal with cancer. Your friend belongs in prison for a very long time. BTW Mikey, what about the public records in your hometown of Redlands for CITIZEN COMPLAINTS AND INTERNAL INVESTIGATIONS from 2001-June 2007 that CM Nabar Martinez wants to destroy to cover tracks of former and current employees run-ins with the public and the administrators. Nabar himself was in trouble for the Lynwood Mayor’s investigation into his charges of embezzlement and nepotism (only former-Lynwood CM Nabar would hire a RUSSIAN MAIL ORDER BRIDE as ASSistant CM and then disappear with over $60K he wasn’t supposed to get until Nov. 2007 in CASH (right Mayor Petey?) and miss the City Council meeting where he was to be fired. Guess where he went?… back to Russia to get his mail-order bride a new visa!
