Weekly Standard: CBS Doesn’t Air Obama Admitting Mistakes in Campaign Ads

Tonight, CBS aired a 60 Minutes interview with President Obama. But curiously enough, the news magazine show did not air a clip of Obama admitting to interviewer Steve Kroft that some of his campaign ads contain mistakes and that some even “go overboard.”

The centerpiece of Gov. Jerry Brown’s tax increase measure, Proposition 30, is a $5 billion a year boost in income taxes on about 150,000 high-income individuals and families – the 1 percenters who already pay 40 percent of California’s income taxes.

Calpensions: Stockton bankruptcy: bond insurers vs. CalPERS

Bond insurers arguing that Stockton is ineligible for bankruptcy because it did not attempt to negotiate a pension debt reduction with CalPERS, among other failings, may get their day in court in January.
