Following high-profile escapes by three inmates at the Glen Helen Rehabilitation Facility over the summer, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department is seeking to beef up security at the Devore jail.

Over the summer? Were we not ALL trying to escape the heat?
Hi BOS chumps, GHRC has held dirtbags for decades with no major issues. Hoops and his staff look the other and now it has to have new security measure to prevent escapes. I’m just saying. Looks like an easy “fix” rather than investigating the real cause.
Uh… how about just putting a man on the outside to scan the horizon with a very modern pair of binoculars?
And use the million plus to deal with the issues and concerns long festering on the inside- would not be wise to just pop up an unneeded fence, and then turn your back on the real problems
