It’s nice to see the San Bernardino City Council figuring things out.

Be it ever so slowly.

The key concept being ignored? There is no m-o-n-e-y.

After all, it’s better they do it than U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Meredith Jury.

The council and Mayor Pat Morris have been embarassingly at odds over a myriad of issues related to cuts and revenue generation for the bankrupt municipality.

There does seem to be resistance to permanently cutting wages and benefits. A matter that must be accomplished in order to right the boat.

Across-the-board concessions will be necessary in order to preserve some sort of service levels.

Especially those service levels ensuring public safety.
