ONTARIO – Council members decided to spread their reach when filling the final two slots on the Ontario International Airport Authority.
Riverside Mayor Ronald O. Loveridge and Lucy Dunn, the president and CEO of the Orange County Business Council, were appointed Tuesday by the council to the recently formed five-person authority.

One of the county’s largest public labor unionshas voted to approve a new contract that requires its members – sheriff’s deputies and district attorney’s investigators – to absorb a range of concessions, ending a year of exhaustive negotiations with the county.

The Rancho Cucamonga City Council on Wednesday unanimously voted to adopt an amendment to the city’s current contract with the California Public Employees’ Retirement System to exclude any elected official elected after October 6, 2012, from membership with the pension system.
