Los Angeles Daily News Columnist Rick Orlov is reporting that Former SEIU Local 735 Leader Tyrone Freeman will be indicted by a federal grand jury in Los Angeles this week.

Freeman, who was a figure in local San Bernardino County politics for some time, is being accused of misappropriating union funds.

Dow Jones back above 13,000

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is back above the 13,000 level for what is likely another short-lived visit.

The last time the index was in this territory was May.

General Motors going sub-prime again!

GM is resorting to lending to sub-prime borrowers once again.
