WASHINGTON – One of them is among the most vocal advocates in Congress for comprehensive immigration reform, including a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants.
The other has championed legislation to end birthright citizenship altogether for the children of the undocumented.
They differ on health care, tax issues and other major issues of the day. But this election season, Democratic Rep. Joe Baca and Republican Rep. Gary Miller have forged an unlikely alliance as they attempt to fend off challenges from members of their own parties.
State Sen. Gloria Negrete McLeod, D-Chino, is running against Baca for the 35th District seat and state Sen. Bob Dutton, R-Rancho Cucamonga, is facing Miller for the 31st District seat.
n recent interviews, Baca and Miller repeatedly praised one another and emphasized their strong working relationship. The two are campaigning in adjacent congressional districts, which together span the entire San Bernardino Valley.

So Miller is getting pointers on how to relate to the district from THAT guy?
It’s amazing what people would do for power, it seems like they have fight against each other for many issues, but now they are holding hands because they feel the pressure from better candidates,
It seem Miller and Baca are all abouth retaining power, it is time to dump them both and get representation from Dutton and Negrete both seem to want to represent the people and not thier pocket books.
