No healthcare ruling from Supreme Court
It looks like next week will be the week. Next Monday that is.
The U.S. Supreme Court didn’t publish its decision on President Barack Obama’s Health Care Law Thursday morning.
Another week of waiting.
Romney hangs tough on national tracking polls
Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney still leads President Barack Obama in two national daily tracking polls.
In the Rasmussen Poll, Romney leads Obama 47% to 43%, with a margin of error of +/- 3.0%. The Gallup Poll has Romney leading 47% to 45%, with a margin of error of +/- 2.0%.
Rasmussen has a sample size of 1,500 likely voters and Gallup 3050 registered voters.
Two other polls released this week portray a wildly different picture.
Bloomberg produced a cocktail party joke poll that gives Obama a 13.0% lead over Romney, with a margin of error of 3.6% and sample size of 734 likely voters.
An AP has Obama with a 3.0% lead, with a margin of error of +/-4.2% and sample size of 878 registered voters.
Economy needs help
The U.S. Federal Reserve Open Market Committee has decided to continue manipulating long-term interest rates lower until the end of the year.
A decision made due to the deteriorating economic landscape.
