ONTARIO – The city is in no way alone in its push for local control of LA/Ontario International Airport.

On Wednesday, city officials announced their efforts to have ONT be locally controlled has received 110 endorsements.

Public agencies, elected officials, newspaper editorials as well as business and civic organizations are among the supporters, according to a city news release.

“This vital issue has united Southern California as never before,” Ontario Councilman Alan Wapner said.
