RANCHO CUCAMONGA – City officials announced budget plans for the fiscal year 12-13, which include reductions to facility operations, program reductions, and the elimination of economic development services.
Projected general fund expenditures for fiscal year 2011-12 are about $63 million. The figure is an increase of about $238,000 from the last fiscal year, officials said.
The elimination of the Redevelopment Agency, part of Sacramento’s dissolution of more than 400 Redevelopment Agencies earlier this year, resulted in a city general fund shortfall of about $4.2 million.
