Quality political mail that records in a voter’s memory is essential in securing a campaign victory.
The less congested and down to the point the better.
Here’s an example from the CD 31 contest. This piece, supporting Congressman Gary Miller (R-Diamond Bar), was funded by the National Association of Realtors Congressional Fund.
As always, click the on the images to enlarge.

It’s unfortunate that Gary Miller supported Export Import bank, that’s our tax dollars at work.
How embarrassing for us republicans, ” form of corporate welfare.
Obama was joined on stage by Hoyer and Rep. Gary Miller (Calif.), the only Republican at the event. Obama credited both with helping to “make this day possible.”
some criticize Republican congresspersons when they don’t cross the aisle
some criticize Republican congresspersons when they cross the aisle
why?
Because the Republican party these days is full of fanatics and snake oil salesmen. Miller is the latter.
I think the biggest question about Miller is why his hair is orange? It looks as if he is using a dye treatment made in China. I always knew he was a Commie at heart. Who’s down for picketing his campaign office tomorrow?
I don’t care if the cross lines as long as it doesn’t involve my taxes nor my freedom. I am all for crossing party lines, if it makes fiscal sense.
Why does he think he will prevail?
Because he’s buying it.
Junk mail
Political mailers are effective, but one can’t simply buy an election. How many mailers has Gary sent out? 13 total I think by now, right? All paid for by the realtor lobby in DC. So what do these lobbyists want in return for their 800k investment in Miller? (PS That’s a ton of money for any one lobbyist group to give out, so I’m assuming there has to be a big specific return they want on their investment)
Gary Miller has spent a ton of money in this race, but frankly he HAS to. He’s a carpet bagger trying to steal this seat when he has never represented a single person from the district, he doesn’t know the area, he doesn’t know the local issues (he wouldn’t even get behind the set Ontario Free movement even when fellow OC Congressman Royce was behind it) yet he wants to represent us simply because he knows his constituents would not elect him again.
Overall, I just think it’s funny Gary Miller is asking us to vote for him, when he’s not even voting for himself
I thought this was funny: http://www.dailykos.com/story/2012/06/04/1096824/-The-Fresh-Congressman-of-Bel-Air-A-New-Guide-to-California-s-2012-Congressional-Elections
Towards the bottom it talks about the sitting Congressman and what percentage of the district they are running in this year that they currently represent now. Scroll down to CD-31
“Congressman Gary Miller: Represent 0% of the District.”
This was interesting too: http://hotlineoncall.nationaljournal.com/archives/2012/06/previewing-cali-1.php
“the district will be another interesting test case of the power of money in politics.”
Don’t let yourself be bought by CD lobbyists. Vote Bob Dutton. Citizen Statesman for San Bernardino County.
CA-31: GOP Rep. Gary Miller does not currently represent any of the 31st District in Congress. On paper, that gives an advantage to fellow Republican Bob Dutton, who has represented a big chunk of the seat in California’s state Senate. But big spending by Miller and several super PACs has swamped Dutton; the district will be another interesting test case of the power of money in politics. Redlands Mayor Pete Aguilar, a DCCC “Red to Blue” candidate, is likely to advance over a small field that includes a few other Democrats.
Interesting…NO DEMS for the 31st!
19Delta lol
Many ask the same question
gray would make him more REAL,less plastic, and even maybe distinguished and even could look wiser.
