It appears the California Citizens Compensation Commission is going to consider a 5 percent pay cut for Gov. Jerry Brown, state lawmakers, constitutional officers like the attorney general and state controller and members of the Board of Equalization at its meeting Thursday.

The Sacramento Bee’s Capitol Alert blog is reporting that commission member Charles Murray intends to bring a pay cut proposal to Thursday’s meeting. The commission sets the salaries for elected officials in California.
