A Super-PAC friendly to County Supervisor Brad Mitzelfelt (R-Wrightwood) is taking aim at Paul Cook (R-Yucca Valley) in the contest to represent constituents in the 8th Congressional District.
On Thursday, JOFPAC, The Jobs Opportunity and Freedom Political Action Committee, reported to the Federal Elections Commission (FEC) that it has paid Gilliard Blanning Associates the sum of $4,300 for radio spots supporting Mitzelfelt to run from 6/2 to 6/4.
At the same time the committee paid another $13,000 to the same firm to send a negative hit mailer against Cook.
This makes the second time Cook is being hit this week.
A few days ago, republican Phil Liberatore took a shot at both Mitzelfelt and Cook.
It’s reasonable to estimate that the Cook campaign is believed to have some traction.

With Mitzelfelt being as tainted and dirty as he is with Colonies money, working for and alongside corrupt officials, it should not surprise anyone that he is taking potshot at others. When you live in glass house Brad the last thing you should do is throw stones.
By the way, not attending a forum when it’s in your own backyard, is pretty chicken poop of you, but not exactly surprising.
Mitzelfelt can attack all day long. Cook has a well oiled campaign in different parts of the district.
