Derry
Tuesday, May 29, 2012 – 09:00 p.m.
Another public safety organization endorsed the reelection bid of San Bernardino County Third Supervisor Neil Derry Monday.
The San Bernardino County Probation Officers Association notified the Derry campaign of its endorsement Monday morning.
The Probation Officers Association joins the San Bernardino Police Officers Association, Barstow Police Officers Association, San Bernardino County Professional Firefighters Association, San Bernardino City Firefighters Association, and San Bernardino County Public Attorneys Association in support of Derry.
Derry is being challenged by Former San Manuel Band of Mission Indians Chairman James Ramos and Defense Department Employee Jim Bagley.
Thank you to all the law enforcement agencies who were not afraid to reflect the 3rd District’s wishes.
I like Derry but I don’t like all these guv unions supporting him.
So much for James Ramos public safety support. He has Redlands POA, bought and paid for with $75,000 to a Superpac for Pete Aguilar, and a bunch of Sheriff’s Captains who have whored themselves out for a future job at San Manuel!
Big and Small labor is what Derry needs to win. He is No Republican but in name only.
No Pension reform coming from this RINO.
RINO: you sound like the typical Ramos hack. Derry endorsed pension reform before anyone else on the board, he just isn’t stupid about it like Rutherford. Your but buddy Ramos endorses giving free college tuition to illegals and is so cheap that he demands his $100 stipend for college board meetings he doesn’t attend, AND HE’s A FRICKIN MILLIONAIRE!

You like Derry, but you don’t like the individuals who see, support, and appreciate the very same leadership qualities in Derry that you yourself do?
Perhaps it would ease your mind to inquire who the presidents and members of these unions are…you would find good, ethical and honest individuals who want to make SBC a better place for us.
All this means is Derry’s promised them more than anyone else. Which by it’s self is a good reason not to vote foe Derry, he’s going to be beholding to those agencies for the rest of his time in office.
Repairman, if you’re complaining over who Neil is bought and paid for, then you must be hitting the roof over who Ramos is bought and paid for (e.g. Big Indian Casinos).

As far as I know, Ramos has never been caught laundering campaign contributions . Bragging rights Derry does not have.
Mr. Repairman,
Come on, even you do not believe what you just posted- on #7 & #9
Anonymous #10:
I don’t know if “Repairman” really believes what he posted in Comment #9, but he is certainly persistent. This is at least the 10th time he has posted a similar comment.
And, like Sun and Daily Bulletin reporter Joe Nelson, he takes advantage of every opportunity to mislead us, claiming that Mr. Derry was charged with “laundering campaign contributions,” plural.
As we all know by now, Mr. Derry was prosecuted for allegedly laundering a single $5,000 contribution that was fully reported.

Why wouldn’t I? Both are true.
Observer of Facts:
Sorry for the extra s. What was it again that derry pleaded to, to avoid felony charges? and why was it again he didn’t fight these false charges, clear his good name and expose all the corruption of the DA you keep talking about?
“At about 11: 35 a.m. this morning (Wed May 29, 2012), Ramos was caught red-handed by a Sheriff’s Deputy pulling down a 4′ x 8′ foot campaign sign of 8th Congressional Candidate Ryan McEachron (R-Victorville).
The sign in question, located at the corner of Victoria Avenue and Fifth Street in the city of Highland, was placed adjacent to a Ramos campaign sign.
The Deputy ordered Ramos to discontinue his actions.
It’s not known if Ramos was cited with the misdemeanor offense.”

Wonder why Derry and Morrell signs have been sabotaged … now we have picture evidence…. BTW – RAMOS endorsed Aguilar …
Repairman:
Because by doing so he would not have been able to do the job the people elected him to do, instead spending the past year in court, just as Mike Ramos planned.
Why was it again that the Attorney General dismissed the felony charges?
You would think that the Attorney General of the State of California would make it a priority to convict a County Supervisor who breached his duty to the public by engaging in felonious acts.
Could it be that they agreed with Judge Dest, and determined that the prosecution was selective and politically motivated, and was a waste of their time, as well as the courts?
Derry is a tool. He think he knows better what was being said, but Didn’t hear a word. What an ass. So he makes up a story and runs with it.
Derry is great while the scums here are trash. Simple as that. Garbage and trash.
