Mayor Pete Aguilar (D-Redlands) has pick up some desperately needed campaign help in his quest to represent the 31st Congressional District.
Aguilar just received over $48,000 in independent expenditure help from the Restoring Our Community PAC.
The expenditure was reported to the Federal Election Commission today.
Aguilar is running against West Valley republicans Gary Miller (R-Diamond Bar) and Bob Dutton (R-Rancho Cucamonga).
It’s expected more than $2 million will be in play for Miller, inclusive of his own campaign war chest.
It’s still most likely Aguilar will make the November runoff against Miller.

Wow! That’s what Miller spends in one week. Simply, no match.
“…most likely, but no cigar”
It’s interesting how Gary Miller has so much money coming in from special interest groups. I wonder what handshake was made behind closed doors.
This moron aguilar clown? The same guy that is on the city council of redlands, the worst run and worst managed city in the valley. Every year over budget, hiring unqualified goofus for a city manager. Oh yeah! WE need another incompetent mexican democrat politico!!!!HAHAHAHAHA. Get this guy outta here!
Miller’s PAC thought he was running in his old district.

There is a reason Miller’s PAC is throwing so much money into this race. He is LOSING big time ! No name recognition. A unknown around CD31. GOP Bob Dutton & Dem. Pete Aguilar have the recognized names. Miller is trying to change our minds with his daily mailers and graffiti like bright neon lime/green/yellow signs to change the Voters minds. Won’t happen. This attempt to hijack this election will not be allowed by the Voters of CD31. Too many outsiders trying to influence this race. Looks like it will be a Dutton-Aguilar race in the General. Good bye Mr. Miller & the Realtors who helped cause this financial meltdown we had with all the over-priced sales of Homes. No wonder they are trying to help Miller along with the Banks that Miller gave TARP money to. I don’t know Aguilar and I am not voting for him. BOB DUTTON has my vote !
