Assemblyman Paul Cook

Friday, December 2, 2011 – 10:00 a.m.

Assemblyman Paul Cook, a self-proclaimed reform candidate for the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors, is reportedly finding it a little lonely these days.

Cook, a republican who is termed-out in the Assembly, vacillated so-much in making up his mind on what he wanted to do that he can’t unearth any real support for his bid to unseat Third District Supervisor Neil Derry.

The other candidate in the race, Indian Casino Boss and Democrat  James Ramos, Chairman of the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, scooped up any support that would have been Cook’s.

In particular, the remaining remnants of Redlands ‘Old Guard’ tied to former Supervisor Dennis Hansberger.

A group that wants people to believe they have more political money than they really do.

The main reason? They’re tightwads!

Cook’s going to need more than his $300,000 in his State Senate committee if he is to have any chance.
