The PE: AIRPORT: Following FBI raid, little insight offered at meeting

Just two days after the FBI and others raided San Bernardino International Airport searching for evidence that could be tied to conspiracy, bribery, fraud and money laundering, officials with the two public agencies that govern the airport offered little comment at a special meeting held Friday afternoon to discuss it.

That’s all the public got after airport panelists came out of a 90-minute closed session meeting Friday to address issues related to the FBI raid Wednesday at San Bernardino International Airport.

UPLAND – A former City Council candidate is continuing to keep an eye on City Hall.

Maureen Sundstrom, an attorney, has filed a complaint with the Public Integrity Unit of the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office accusing the City Council of violating the Brown Act during its Sept. 12 meeting regarding two agenda items.
