Inland Rep. Jerry Lewis is backing San Manuel tribal chief and a San Bernardino Valley Community College District trustee James Ramos in his bid for a seat on the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors, Ramos’ campaign announced.
Ramos is vying to unseat current Supervisor Neil Derry to represent the county’s 3rd district after next June’s election.

You have to be kidding. Mr. Lewis, I have always supported you, but there is no way I can anymore. If you support this guy, then you are obviously hanging with the wrong crowd. Be careful who you associate your name with!
Lewis is an old has-been,trashing himself and his name with his last stupid political endorsements.

It hurts to see the biggest R support a Democrat. That is not the end of Derry’s campaign since Lewis supporter Hansberger and he still lost. What’s more telling is that Derry could not persuade Lewis to endorse the present supervisor of the district. It also shows that Derry is having a hard time getting support of many new comers in the cities he covers. That is not a healthy sign for an incumbent seeking re-election.
Ramos now has more credibility then Hansbeger did with the same endorsement , because he is unknown and this news will help get more support.
It’s hard for congressmen to support candidates that are connected to criminal investigations. Irwin is Derry’s worst anchor that is dragging him down.
Supervisor Derry doesn’t want to be one of Jerry’s Kids anyway.

Ramos is DOA. Supervisor Derry couldn’t have chose a better candidate. People are getting sick over the tribe circuitous saturating of the TV airwaves ad nauseam campaigning on Ramos’ behalf.
