Riverside County Supervisor Bob Buster holds the early money lead over challenger Assemblyman Kevin Jeffries in their race for the Board of Supervisors next year.

After the first six months of the year, Buster had $253,036 in cash on hand, compared to Jeffries’ $215,024, newly released campaign finance reports show.

Jeffries, R-Lake Elsinore, is termed out of the Assembly next year and is challenging Buster for the 1st District seat on the Board of Supervisors.
