Another week, another sham California budget.

A budget allegedly balanced by the ‘hope’ of higher revenues to come and a smattering of cuts.

Hey, let’s just say were going to take in more money next year. Yeah, that’s the ticket!

Yes, another $4 billion is going to fall from the sky and into the state treasury.

It’s this kind of wishful reckless thinking that put the state into this mess in the first place.

Congratulations to the republicans who did in fact hold the line and stop state residents from getting hammered with more taxes. Consumers instead will be treated to a sales tax and vehicle license fee decreases of 1.0% and .5% respectively on July 1.

One has to believe that the daily loss of pay to democrat legislators is once again the driving factor in Monday’s new budget scheme.

Expect this new facade to be signed by the Governor and blessed by the Controller.
