With Jurupa Valley speeding toward its July 1 incorporation date, the City Council-elect will hold its final regularly scheduled meeting Thursdayand is set to make several decisions that will allow City Hall to open for business on schedule.
Council members-elect already have rented City Hall space at the DeAnza Marketplace on Limonite Avenue, agreed to enter into a contract with Charter Business for telephone and Internet service and authorized the purchase of computers and other office equipment.
The City Council-elect will meet in regular session at 7 p.m. Thursday. A workshop session is set for 4 p.m.
The meeting will be in the board room of the Jurupa Unified School District Education Center, 4850 Pedley Road.
