Anybody who thinks that California Attorney General Kamala Harris oversaw any type of “impartial” investigation of Third District Supervisor Neil Derry can put that thought to rest. By reading the filed criminal complaint, there is not one single reference to state investigators. As discussed here earlier, this was an investigation initiated by San Bernardino County District Attorney Mike Ramos, and Kamala Harris had little to do with it.
