Those wishing to address Temecula’s City Council about items not on the agenda will now have an extra minute to do so.

The council on Tuesday unanimously voted to extend the time limits for each speaker in the public comments portion at the start of meetings. Speakers will now have three minutes instead of two to talk about non-agenda topics and matters on the consent calendar, a collection of normally routine agenda items passed with one council vote.
