Saturday, February 12, 2011 – 11:55 a.m. has received information identifying an involved party related to a recently filed indictment pertaining to widely-published activities in the City of Upland.

Sources confirm the individual identified in a federal complaint as R.M. is Robert Mills.

Mills’ business, Chronic Cantina, was closed down by Upland officials in April 2009.

The closure was a pivotal turning point in the investigation leading to the current charges, and what is likely to be others.

Mills is referenced in a December 10, 2010 story published in the Long Beach Press-Telegram, which highlights his allegations against the city.
