Members of the Riverside County Board of Supervisors raised slightly less and spent significantly more campaign money than their San Bernardino County brethren last year.

They also reported significantly depleted warchests.

And I mean significant.

Collectively the Riverside County body raised $ 1,168,836 and spent $1,657,531.

The big shocker is cash-on-hand at December 31, 2010.

Combined, all five members had just $420,216.84 available.

An amount that is a little more than half of San Bernardino County Fifth District Supervisor Josie Gonzales’ year end balance.

Here’s the individual breakdown.
