Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger on Thursday appointed three judges for the Inland area, one for Riverside County and two for San Bernardino County.

All three are former prosecutors, all are Republicans, and the oldest is 46. They each will earn a yearly salary of $178,789.

Jacqueline C. Jackson, 41, of Chino Hills, was named to Riverside County Superior Court. She was a deputy district attorney for Riverside County since 2006 and a prosecutor for Los Angeles County from 1996 to 2006.

Jackson fills a vacancy caused by the disability retirement of Judge Douglas E. Weathers. Jackson earned her law degree from the UC Hastings College of the Law, and has a bachelor of arts degree from UCLA.

Dan Detienne, 46, of Murrieta, was named to a judgeship in San Bernardino County. He has served twice as a deputy district attorney for San Bernardino County, from 1997 to 2005 and from 2007 until his appointment.

He was with the Riverside County district attorney’s office from 2005 to 2007.

Detienne earned a juris doctorate from Western State University College of Law, and a bachelor of arts degree from Cal State Fullerton.
