Sources say the federal grand jury hearing testimony and reviewing evidence in the investigation into alleged misconduct by government officials at San Bernardino County-owned and operated Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC is moving at a fast pace.

Federal prosecutors in the U.S. Attorneys office are rumored to reportedly want the investigative phase of the ARMC scandal concluded as soon as possible, in order to make way for a new high-profile investigation involving another un-named San Bernardino County government official.

At last report several doctors and employees have already appeared and given testimony before the grand jury.

InlandPolitics.com has also confirmed some doctors have sought the advice of outside legal counsel.

Sources say the investigation has focused on the use of ARMC by county officials for free medical procedures and whether or not physicians and employees faced intimidation to provide care by false pretenses.
