The latest poll released Friday afternoon has the races for California Governor and U.S. Senate tightening.
A poll released by Reuters/Ipsos has democrat Jerry Brown leading republican Meg Whitman 48% to 44% in the race for Governor. Democrat Barbara Boxer is only edging republican Carly Fiorina 46% to 45%.
Fiorina has been steadily closing in on Boxer over the past ten days, while the Whitman-Brown polling numbers appear to have become more fluid.
The polls margin of error is +/- 4.6%.
The poll was conducted from 10/12 through 10/14 with a sample size of 601 registered voters, 456 likely voters.
The last Reuters/Ipsos poll, conducted from 10/2 through 10/4 had Brown leading Whitman 50% to 43%, and Boxer leading Fiorina 49% to 45%.
Polling indicates both races are fluid and may likely be decided by Election Day turnout.
Democrats are fighting poor voter enthusiasm this year, which could hand both seats to republicans.
