One things for certain.

I’m sure Meg Whitman didn’t expect to be trailing this close to Election Day.

Scott Rasmussen published a poll Friday morning showing Whitman down six points against democrat Jerry Brown. A poll result that should be taken seriously.

Especially when it’s a number outside the margin of error.

With sixteen days remaining until voters pick between the two candidates a little soul searching may be in order.

For about two weeks now, I’ve noticed that Whitman’s advisors have seemingly lost their way, and more importantly lost touch with voters.

Voters who appear to have had enough story telling. But advisors to Whitman appear unable to change gears.

A few suggestions.

A. Brown on the death penalty and Rose Bird

B. Brown on de-funding highway construction

C. Unions

D. Pension Debt

Expect a monument to be erected in honor of the laughing stock of consultants and advisors, should circumstances go badly for Whitman.
