Pros and cons on the nine California propositions for the Nov. 2 general election will be discussed at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Claremont Public Library, 208 Harvard Ave.

The league and the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Pomona Valley Alumnae Chapter will host a 59th Assembly District candidates forum. The forum will run from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the Padua Room at the Alexander Community Center at 1700 Danbury Road.

The district includes Claremont, La Verne, San Dimas and Glendora. All candidates have been invited to speak.

The events are free and open to the public and two league publications, The Easy Voter Guide and the Pros and Cons Newsletter, will be available for attendees.
