Inland Rep. Darrell Issa is asking Congress’s investigative branch to look into whether the Obama administration has improperly used taxpayer money to further its political agenda.

Issa, the top Republican on the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, made the request to the Government Accountability Office on Monday following his own investigation. Issa accuses the White House of, among other things, using the National Endowment for the Arts and the Department of Health and Human Services to press organizations and members of Congress to support President Barack Obama’s health care plan.
