I won’t waste much energy on this, since the far right-wing of the California Republican Party can’t seem to stop shooting themselves in the head.
True to form, Mike Spence and the California Republican Assembly (CRA) started shooting off their mouths in a story published in today’s San Francisco Chronicle.
The message. Were not happy with Meg Whitman.
The threat. If you don’t promise to arrest, torture and execute every illegal immigrant in the state, we (the CRA) will stay home on Election Day and let Jerry Brown win.
Are these folks for real? Unfortunately yes.
Conservative “grass roots” Republicans can’t help it. They sometimes become mentally challenged. They must eat their own.
It’s well known Whitman can’t win the governorship while holding to right-wing positions that pull her from being viewed as a moderate on certain issues.
Especially in California. Face it. The electorate has changed significantly since Pete Wilson was elected Governor. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure this out.
The CRA of course doesn’t care. I actually believe they would let Brown win. The “we’ll show you just how important we are attitude” seems to prevail with this group of ego maniacs.
Go ahead Mike, shoot your mouth on some more.

Mike Spence was recently found to have shown a pattern over a number of years of harassing, intimidating, and threatening school district employees and staff.
This all came about when he told a teacher in the district to “Go **** himself” during a board meeting. Spence has been on his school obard for twenty years, but cannot point to single accomplishment.
This is the guy who says he can find better teachers on street corners. He has stated public education is “virtually worthless.” He knows more about nail palors in other cities than he knows about the education of children in his district.
Meg is probably happy that Spence is upset since no Republican in California has won a state wide election with his endorsement. He endorsed Poizner – lost big. He endorsed Lancaster in the 59th – lost again. He endorsed a candidate for the local school board – lost. Endorsed a candidate for Congress (32nd) and she came third amoung Republicans. Spence said she should win because she makes great carnitas.
He did, behind the scenes, support another person for the school board – a member of every organization and holds every political view that is the opposite of what claim to believe.
