While I don't have the specific donation list, I do know that the local papers have been accusing Burum, and Lewis of donating hundreds of thousands annually for years. I believe the donations total over a million each. Which makes your Daily Bulletin style blog incorrect. I am a firm believer in campaign reform and contribution limits. However, if a guy plays by the rules, (even the bad ones) you can't condemn him afterwards. Change the rules.
Why is it so easy to tear others down, but yet you refuse to argue for, or participate in positive change?

Charlie,

While I don’t have the specific donation list, I do know that the local papers have been accusing Burum, and Lewis of donating hundreds of thousands annually for years. You forgot "tolerating insipid blog postings from idiots who use profanity."
According to a graphic in the Press Enterprise, The Colonies gave $100,000 to the San Bernardino County Young Republicans, who donated $40,000 to the San Bernardino County Taxpayers Association, who donated over $150,000 to the Committee to Reelect Dennis Hansberger. Mr. Hansberger was always opposed to any settlement with The Colonies, and seemed to support the County spending itself into insolvency fighting them.
Under Charlie Chan's theory that The Colonies knew "exactly" where the PAC Contribution money was going to end up, they gave $40,000 to the re-election campaign of their #1 opponent.

You forgot “palm greasing” in there.

You forgot “tolerating insipid blog postings from idiots who use profanity.”

You forgot "palm greasing" in there.
Such an articulate load of blah blah blah blah to me!
Question: Did Burum ever, in his lifetime, donate $100,000 to a candidate or PAC, let alone $400,000 to five PACS over such a short time frame? Did he ever in his lifetime? If so, please note them. Also, no one contributes that much money without knowing exactly what they are contributing to. Fess up. Be honest and let us all know right now: What were those five donations specifically for. If you cannot say, and I'm 100 percent sure you can't, then you're a lying sack of pig shit! Just go to jail, pay your debts for stealing from taxpayers, and live a virtuous life from then on out. Of, wait, you're a politician. Sigh! So it is.

“Hard work, sacrifice, intellect, college education, and just plain good old-fashioned luck can all be damned.”

You forgot “palm greasing” in there.

Such an articulate load of blah blah blah blah to me!

Question: Did Burum ever, in his lifetime, donate $100,000 to a candidate or PAC, let alone $400,000 to five PACS over such a short time frame?
